A CNC Router Operator is responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining a CNC router machine to create precise wood or other material parts based on technical drawings and specifications. This involves loading materials, setting machine controls, monitoring production, inspecting finished products, and maintaining the machine and work area. Responsibilities: * **Setup and Programming:** Preparing the CNC router machine for operation by loading materials, setting up tools, and programming the machine with the correct cutting paths and parameters. * **Operation:** Operating the CNC router to cut, shape, and carve materials according to design specifications. * **Monitoring:** Continuously monitoring the machine during operation to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency. * **Quality Control:** Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications and making necessary adjustments. * **Maintenance:** Performing routine maintenance on the machine, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs. * **Safety:** Following all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. * **Inventory Management:** Keeping track of materials and tools, and informing supervisors of any shortages or needs.
