We are looking for a highly skilled **Senior WordPress Developer** to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in modern WordPress development practices, experienced in cloud\-based environments, and capable of handling complex technical challenges. This role requires strong technical skills, collaboration with cross\-functional teams, and a focus on delivering high\-quality, scalable solutions. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress applications, plugins, and themes. * Perform **code reviews** to ensure quality, scalability, and adherence to best practices. * Manage **application deployments** using Docker and CI/CD pipelines (in collaboration with the DevOps team). * Conduct **advanced debugging**, including troubleshooting on **Azure resources** (App Service, VMs, API Management, etc.). * Work with REST APIs, Composer, and modern PHP development workflows. * Provide technical guidance and support to developers within the WordPress team. * Ensure performance optimization, security, and scalability in WordPress applications. **Required Skills \& Experience** * 5\+ years of hands\-on experience with **WordPress (themes, plugins, custom development)**. * Strong expertise in **PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and REST API integration**. * Experience with **Docker** and working in environments that leverage **CI/CD pipelines**. * Proficiency with **Composer** and modern PHP development practices. * Familiarity with **Azure cloud services**. * Proven experience in **debugging complex application issues** across both code and infrastructure. * Strong collaboration skills for working with cross\-functional teams. * Deep understanding of **performance optimization, security best practices, and scalability** in WordPress.
