The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating exceptional continental dishes, a deep understanding of culinary techniques, and a strong leadership ability. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your culinary creativity and contribute to a dynamic and innovative kitchen environment. **Responsibilities**: * Oversee the preparation, cooking, and plating of all continental dishes on the menu, ensuring consistent quality, taste, and presentation. * Menu Development: Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop new continental dishes, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques. * Manage and maintain the continental section of the kitchen, ensuring mise en place is complete, ingredients are fresh, and the station is organized and efficient. * Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff within the continental section, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and knowledge. * Ensure the consistent quality of all continental dishes, adhering to taste, presentation, and portion standards. * Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene in the continental section, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. * Monitor and maintain inventory levels for the continental section, ensuring proper rotation of stock and minimizing waste. * Assist in managing food costs for the continental section, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality standards. **Qualifications**: * Can speak English well, and Arabic (preferred) * Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie, with a demonstrated expertise in Italian and continental cuisine. * Strong culinary skills, including knife handling, cooking techniques, and plating presentation. Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast\-paced, high\-pressure environment. * In\-depth knowledge of continental cuisine, including classic and modern dishes, ingredients, and flavor profiles. Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations. * Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is preferred.
