Materials Controller

Description

Summary: The Materials Controller monitors and controls material flow, maintains inventory records, coordinates with teams, prepares reports, and ensures compliance with procedures. Highlights: 1. Manage material receipt, storage, issuance, and transfer. 2. Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile stock. 3. Ensure compliance with company policies and control procedures. **Responsibilities:** * Monitor and control the receipt, storage, issuance, and transfer of materials. * Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are updated regularly. * Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and project teams to ensure timely material availability. * Prepare material reports, stock reconciliations, and consumption analyses. * Verify material requests and ensure proper documentation for all transactions. * Conduct periodic inventory checks and support annual stock audits. * Identify shortages, excess stock, and discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions. * Ensure compliance with company policies and established inventory control procedures. * Maintain proper filing and documentation of all material\-related records. * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma. * Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Materials Controller, Inventory Controller, or in a similar role, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or MEP industries. * Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. * Experience in the GCC region is an added advantage.
