**Job Summary:** We are looking for a qualified **Electrical Technician** to perform the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment in a **Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)**. The technician will ensure the safe and reliable operation of motors, control panels, switchgear, transformers, and power distribution systems critical to wastewater treatment processes. **Key Responsibilities:** * Conduct routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components. * Diagnose and repair faults in electrical circuits, motors, starters, control panels, and lighting systems. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on all electrical equipment. * Ensure all electrical installations comply with relevant codes and safety regulations. * Maintain and update records of maintenance activities and reports. * Work with plant automation systems including PLC panels, SCADA interfaces (basic level). * Respond to electrical emergencies and restore equipment operation with minimal downtime. * Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment. * Coordinate with mechanical and instrumentation teams for integrated system maintenance. **Qualifications:** * Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. * Minimum **3–5 years** of experience in electrical maintenance within a **wastewater/sewage treatment plant** or similar industrial environment. * Good knowledge of electrical power systems, control systems, and safety practices. * Experience working with motors, MCCs, VFDs, relays, switchgear, and backup power systems (generators/UPS).
