




We are looking for a steel fabricator who is responsible for reading blueprints, cutting, shaping (bending, grinding, drilling), and assembling metal parts using machinery like shears, brakes, and welders to create structures for buildings, bridges, or tanks, while ensuring quality checks, maintaining equipment, and strictly following safety protocols for precise, durable metal components. Key Responsibilities: * **Blueprint Interpretation:** Read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and work orders. Core Duties in Practice: * Transforming raw steel into beams, columns, frames, or complex assemblies. * Working on large\-scale projects like bridges and tanks, or smaller manufactured items. * Performing tasks at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments. * **Material Preparation:** Lay out, measure, mark, and cut metal pieces accurately. * **Shaping \& Forming:** Bend, roll, straighten, and grind metal using machinery like presses, shears, and rollers. * **Assembly \& Joining:** Fit and join components using welding, bolting, riveting, or other methods. * **Machinery Operation:** Operate various fabrication equipment, including plasma cutters, drill presses, and potentially robotic welders. * **Quality Control:** Inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards. * **Finishing:** Grind, polish, and finish products to remove imperfections. * **Safety \& Maintenance:** Maintain a clean workspace, follow all safety regulations, and keep tools/machinery in good condition. * **Collaboration:** Work with engineers, architects, and other team members to meet project goals.
