We are seeking a highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in modern WordPress development, bring solid experience working within cloud\-based environments, and be adept at solving complex technical challenges. This role requires advanced technical expertise, strong collaboration with cross\-functional teams, and a commitment to delivering high\-quality, scalable solutions. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress applications, plugins, and themes following modern development standards. * Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, scalability, and adherence to best practices. * Manage and support application deployments using Docker and CI/CD pipelines in coordination with the DevOps team. * Perform advanced debugging and troubleshooting across WordPress codebases and Azure cloud resources (e.g., App Service, VMs, API Management). * Integrate and work with REST APIs, Composer, and contemporary PHP development workflows. * Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to other developers within the WordPress team. * Ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability across all WordPress applications. **Required Skills \& Experience** * 5\+ years of hands\-on experience with WordPress, including custom themes, plugins, and application development. * Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and REST API integration. * Experience using Docker and working in environments supported by CI/CD pipelines. * Proficiency with Composer and modern PHP development practices. * Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services and related troubleshooting. * Demonstrated ability to debug complex issues across both application code and cloud infrastructure. * Strong cross\-functional collaboration skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams. * Deep understanding of performance optimization, security best practices, and scalability for WordPress environments. * Fluency in English preferred; Arabic is a strong advantage.
