Position: Document Controller Location: Doha, Qatar Job Type: Full\-Time Experience Required: 10\+ Years Industry: Construction / Engineering / Contracting Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Document Controller to manage project documentation, maintain accurate records, and ensure smooth communication between project teams. The candidate must have strong knowledge of document control procedures used in construction projects. Key Responsibilities * Manage, organize, and control all project documents (drawings, reports, letters, submittals, correspondences). * Maintain document logs, registers, and file structures as per company procedures. * Ensure proper document numbering, version control, and distribution to concerned teams. * Track incoming and outgoing documents using EDMS or manual systems. * Prepare transmittals and ensure timely circulation of documents. * Upload and manage documents in systems such as Aconex, SharePoint, EDMS, etc. * Ensure documents comply with project quality and formatting requirements. * Assist project managers, engineers, and QA/QC teams with required documentation. * Support audits and provide necessary documentation when requested. * Safeguard confidential and controlled documents. Requirements * Minimum 10 years of experience as a Document Controller (preferably in Qatar). * Experience in construction or engineering projects. * Excellent organizational and archiving skills. * Good command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work independently and under pressure. * Good communication skills.
