Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget Job Description – Project Engineer (Oil \& Gas) **Position:** Project Engineer **Location:** Qatar Job Summary We are seeking an experienced **Project Engineer** to support the successful execution of Oil \& Gas projects in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, and project execution activities while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate and manage engineering, procurement, and construction activities throughout the project lifecycle. * Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing project activities. * Review engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. * Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contractors, vendors, and clients. * Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and recommend corrective actions. * Support project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and resource planning. * Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, quality standards, and contractual obligations. * Participate in project meetings and provide technical and progress updates. * Review technical documents, drawings, material submittals, and change requests. * Coordinate construction activities to ensure engineering requirements are properly implemented. * Support commissioning, testing, handover, and project close\-out activities. * Maintain accurate project documentation and prepare technical reports as required. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Instrumentation, or equivalent). * Project Management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is required or preferred as specified by the client. * Minimum **10–15 years of experience** as a **Project Engineer** in Oil \& Gas projects. * Proven experience in engineering coordination, construction coordination, and project execution. * Strong understanding of project management principles and engineering practices. * Experience working on EPIC or major Oil \& Gas projects is an advantage. * Excellent communication, coordination, and problem\-solving skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
