Do you want to play a key role in transforming our firm into an agile organization? We are looking for a Full stack Java Cloud Native Developer to: * design and implement new highly scalable system capabilities centered around Spring Boot based cloud native solutions along modern UI using React. * focus on engineering clean solutions, reducing complexity, addressing technical debt and support cloud adoption * enhance DevOps landscape through highly automated quality assurance, build, and deployment\-related tool chains * translate client needs / business requirements (functional and non\-functional) into robust, well documented solution designs * drive excellence and challenge the status quo by speaking up and communicating well both verbally and written with all stakeholders * collaborate with your team members across locations to drive delivery **Your team** You'll be working in Onboarding and Services which sits within our Group Operations and Technology Office (GOTO). You will be part of the Client onboarding organization which is collection of onboarding and services fulfilling client needs. **Your expertise** * ideally 8\+ years preferably within the finance sector * hands\-on experience in developing \& deploying cloud native applications preferably on Microsoft Azure Cloud. * strong programming experience in Java 11 (or newer version), modern web technologies React, Spring Boot 2 or above, Spring MVC frameworks, JPA, Liquibase, Mockito, JUnit 5, Gradle 3, Maven 3 and Gitl * DevOps experience, specifically with Gitlab/GitHub, build and deployment pipelines * understanding of agile delivery methodologies and solution delivery lifecycle * highly committed, self\-reliant contributor with a positive attitude, great ambitions and an interest in the future of Finance Technology * good knowledge of PostgreSQL, APIGEE, Azure Certifications. **About us** UBS is a leading and truly global wealth manager and the leading universal bank in Switzerland.
