Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability About the Role The Data Engineer – AMI will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing data pipelines that support Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems. The role focuses on collecting, processing, validating, and integrating large volumes of smart meter data to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives. Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain AMI data pipelines and integration processes. * Design and optimize databases for meter data collection. * Manage ETL processes and data transformation activities. * Integrate AMI systems with MDMS, ERP, GIS, and enterprise platforms. * Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability. * Develop SQL queries and automate reporting processes. * Support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. * Troubleshoot data\-related issues and improve system performance. * Prepare technical documentation and system reports. * Collaborate with IT and utility operations teams. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Data Engineering or AMI Systems in Qatar. * Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, ETL tools, Data Warehousing, APIs, and database management. * Experience with Power BI, Azure, AWS, or cloud\-based data platforms is preferred. * Experience with AMI, MDMS, and utility systems is highly desirable. * Strong analytical and programming skills.
