Civil Project Engineer

Summary: Seeking a Civil Engineer for project execution and coordination, overseeing civil works from planning to completion, ensuring compliance and effective team supervision. Highlights: 1. Lead civil works execution, coordination, and compliance with project standards 2. Manage authority approvals, inspections, and resolve technical challenges 3. Supervise site teams, implement QA/QC, and ensure HSE compliance Project Execution \& Coordination: \-Planning, coordinating, and executing civil works in line with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. \-Review IFC drawings and ensure constructability and compliance with (QCS). \-Prepare and review method statements, work programs, and construction sequences. \-Coordinate with local authorities including MMUP/Baladiya, Ashghal, Kahramaa, and QCDD to obtain required approvals . \-Manage authority inspections, respond to comments, and ensure timely closure. \-Review shop drawings, material submittals, and samples for consultant approval. \-Raise RFIs, propose technical solutions, and resolve design conflicts in coordination with consultants and subcontractors. \-Ensure effective coordination between civil, architectural, and MEP disciplines. \-Supervise subcontractors and site teams to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and according to approved documents. \-Monitor manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project milestones. \-Implement QA/QC procedures including ITPs and inspections. \-Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and QCS safety standards. \-Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, and as\-built documentation. \-Assist in quantity tracking, variation identification, and VO submissions. \-Support interim payment applications and coordination with QS teams. \-Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, look\-ahead schedules, and risk registers. Requirements: Education: \-Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory) Experience \& Skills: \-Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in Qatar. \-Strong knowledge of QCS . \-Experience in building projects. \-Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office; Primavera P6 knowledge is an advantage. \-Strong coordination, communication, and problem\-solving skills.
