The role involves ensuring electrical installations comply with safety regulations, project specifications, and industry standards. Key Responsibilities * Design and develop **electrical systems, circuits, and power distribution systems**. * Prepare **electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation**. * Supervise installation of electrical equipment and systems on site. * Ensure compliance with **local regulations and safety standards** in Qatar. * Perform **testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting** of electrical systems. * Coordinate with **civil, mechanical, and project engineers** during project execution. * Review contractor work, shop drawings, and electrical material submittals. * Monitor project progress and ensure **timely completion within budget**. * Conduct **maintenance planning and preventive maintenance** for electrical equipment. * Prepare reports, risk assessments, and technical evaluations. **Required Qualifications** * **Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering**. * 3–10 years of relevant experience (depending on company level). * Knowledge of electrical design software such as: * AutoCAD * ETAP * Dialux * MATLAB (sometimes required) **Skills** * Strong knowledge of **power systems and electrical design**. * Ability to read and interpret **electrical drawings and schematics**. * Knowledge of **international electrical standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA)**. * Problem\-solving and troubleshooting skills. * Good communication and teamwork ability. * Project management and documentation skills. **Preferred Requirements (Often Requested in Qatar)** * Experience with **Gulf / Middle East projects**. * Knowledge of **Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS)**. * Professional certifications or memberships (optional but beneficial) Job Type: Full\-time Work Location: In person
