




Summary: Execute electrical work, ensuring safety, compliance, and competency in maintaining and troubleshooting various electrical systems. Highlights: 1. Demonstrate competency in hazardous area classifications **Key Responsibilities1\. Electrical Work Execution** * Perform installation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of electrical systems (LV/MV/HV). * Work on motors, transformers, switchgear, UPS systems, and hazardous area equipment. * Ensure all tasks comply with approved procedures and risk assessments. **2\. Safety \& Compliance** * Apply **Permit to Work (PTW)** and **Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)** procedures. * Ensure compliance with **Shell Life\-Saving Rules**. * Identify electrical hazards, implement controls, and stop unsafe work when necessary. * Verify isolation and earthing before starting work. **3\. Competency Assurance** * Maintain valid electrical authorization (e.g., Authorized Electrical Person / Senior Authorized Person). * Demonstrate competence in hazardous area classifications (e.g., ATEX/IECEx). * Participate in competency assessments and training programs. **4\. Inspection \& Testing** * Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance. * Perform electrical testing (insulation resistance, continuity, functional testing). * Record and report findings in maintenance systems. **5\. Fault Diagnosis \& Troubleshooting** * Analyze electrical faults and implement corrective actions. * Support root cause analysis (RCA) for failures and incidents. **6\. Documentation \& Reporting** * Update drawings, schematics, and maintenance records. * Ensure accurate completion of permits, checklists, and test reports. **7\. Emergency Response** * Support plant emergency response for electrical incidents. * Restore systems safely following trips or outages.
