Summary: Seeking an accomplished Senior Mechanical Engineer (Supervision) to oversee mechanical works across large-scale projects, ensuring compliance and driving coordination through BIM platforms. Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers We are seeking an accomplished Senior Mechanical Engineer (Supervision) with **UPDA Grade A certification and 15 years of experience**, **including proven expertise in BIM (Building Information Modeling).** The successful candidate will oversee mechanical works across large\-scale projects, ensuring compliance with QCS, local authority regulations, and international standards, while driving coordination and integration through BIM platforms. **Key Responsibilities:** * Supervise and manage all **mechanical systems** (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, etc.) during design review, execution, testing, and commissioning stages. * Review and approve **shop drawings, BIM models, material submittals, and as\-built drawings**. * Utilize **BIM platforms** (Revit MEP, Navisworks, etc.) to ensure clash detection, design coordination, and integration across disciplines. * Conduct regular **site inspections** to monitor quality, progress, and compliance with safety and standards. * Coordinate with architects, structural, and electrical teams via **BIM workflows** for seamless project delivery. * Lead and mentor a team of junior engineers and CAD/BIM technicians. * Validate contractors’ **progress reports, variations, and claims**. * Supervise **testing, commissioning, and final handover** of mechanical systems. * Represent the client in all **technical and BIM coordination meetings** with consultants, contractors, and authorities. **Qualifications \& Skills:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred). * UPDA Grade A certification (mandatory). * 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering and supervision, with at least 8 years in Qatar/GCC. * Strong expertise in HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems. * Hands\-on experience with BIM tools (Autodesk Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, BIM 360, Dynamo). **Note:** Only candidates **currently in Qatar** with valid QID**, send CV to** hr@gcg.com.qa\* Job Type: Full\-time Job Type: Full\-time Work Location: In person
