Ensure projects meet technical specifications, quality, and budgets About the Role Pompa Uzmani Pump and Engineering Services provides engineering solutions focused on industrial pumps, water systems, mechanical equipment, pumping\-system maintenance and technical support. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to coordinate and deliver mechanical engineering projects involving pumping systems, water infrastructure and industrial equipment. The successful candidate will support projects from technical planning and equipment selection through installation, testing and commissioning. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, contractors and internal engineering teams to ensure projects meet technical specifications, quality requirements, budgets and agreed schedules. Mechanical engineering broadly involves the design, analysis, testing and maintenance of mechanical systems, while project engineering typically combines technical coordination with scheduling, resource planning and project delivery responsibilities. Key Responsibilities **Project Coordination:** Coordinate mechanical engineering projects from initial planning through installation, testing and final handover. **Technical Review:** Review project specifications, mechanical drawings, equipment schedules and technical documentation. **Pump System Engineering:** Support the selection and specification of pumps, motors, valves, piping components and associated mechanical equipment. **Equipment Selection:** Evaluate technical requirements and recommend appropriate mechanical equipment based on project specifications and operating conditions. **Project Planning:** Prepare project schedules, work plans, resource requirements and technical deliverables. **Supplier Coordination:** Liaise with equipment manufacturers, suppliers and vendors regarding technical specifications, quotations and delivery schedules. **Installation Support:** Coordinate with site teams and contractors to ensure mechanical equipment is installed according to approved drawings and specifications. **Testing and Commissioning:** Support equipment inspections, performance testing and commissioning activities before project handover. **Quality Assurance:** Ensure engineering activities and equipment installations meet applicable quality standards and project requirements. **Technical Documentation:** Prepare and maintain technical submittals, method statements, equipment schedules, inspection records and project reports. **Cost Monitoring:** Assist with project budgeting, equipment cost reviews and expenditure monitoring. **Risk Management:** Identify technical and operational risks and recommend appropriate corrective or preventive actions. **Client Coordination:** Attend project meetings and provide clients with technical updates and progress information. **Problem Resolution:** Investigate mechanical and equipment\-related issues and coordinate practical engineering solutions. **Project Handover:** Support the preparation of final documentation, operation manuals and project closeout records. What We Are Looking For * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, project engineering or industrial equipment projects. * Experience with pumps, water systems, piping or rotating equipment is strongly preferred. * Good understanding of mechanical drawings and technical specifications. * Experience coordinating equipment installation, testing and commissioning activities. * Knowledge of project planning and engineering documentation. * Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar engineering software is advantageous. * Strong analytical and technical problem\-solving skills. * Ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers, contractors and clients. * Strong organisational and time\-management abilities. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. * Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. * Arabic language skills are an advantage. الراتب المدفوع: QAR١٠٨٬٠٠٠٫٠٠ لكل عام موقع العمل: بشكل شخصي
