Summary: Operate and monitor metal recycling equipment, inspect materials, conduct routine checks, perform basic maintenance, and maintain production logs while following safety procedures. Ensure processed materials meet quality and safety standards * Operate shredders, crushers, grinders, and milling equipment used in metal recycling. * Monitor equipment performance and adjust settings to ensure optimal production output. * Inspect incoming scrap materials and ensure proper feeding into the mill. * Conduct routine equipment checks and report mechanical issues to the maintenance team. * Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery. * Ensure processed materials meet quality and size specifications. * Maintain production logs and complete daily operational reports. * Follow plant safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times. * Assist in loading/unloading materials when required. * Keep work area clean and organized.
