Summary: The MEP Storekeeper manages, organizes, and controls all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials, tools, and equipment to support smooth construction project operations. Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and site teams The MEP Storekeeper is responsible for managing, organizing, and controlling all materials, tools, and equipment related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works. The role ensures accurate inventory control, timely issuance of materials, and proper documentation to support smooth construction project operations. **Key Responsibilities** * Receive, inspect, and record all incoming MEP materials, tools, and equipment. * Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of MEP materials in accordance with company standards. * Maintain accurate inventory records and regularly update stock levels in the inventory system. * Prepare and issue materials based on approved material requests and site requirements. * Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and site teams regarding material availability and delivery schedules. * Conduct periodic stock inspections and physical inventory checks. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and material movement reports. * Maintain proper labeling, identification, and organization of all stored items. * Monitor material consumption and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies immediately. * Ensure compliance with company safety regulations and housekeeping standards within the store area. * Assist in arranging the store layout for efficient storage, accessibility, and stock control. * Maintain proper documentation for material receipts, issuance, transfers, and returns. **Qualifications \& Requirements** * Diploma or Certificate in Storekeeping, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. * Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an MEP Storekeeper in the construction industry, preferably in Qatar. * Good knowledge of MEP materials, tools, and equipment used in construction projects. * Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and inventory management systems. * Strong organizational, communication, and recordkeeping skills. * Good attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management. * Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure. * Familiarity with construction site procedures and safety standards is an advantage.
