Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces for finishing coats. Remove old finishes by stripping wallpaper, sanding, using wire brushes, burning, or employing water and/or abrasive blasting. Cover surfaces with appropriate protective material during painting and post signs to indicate wet paint. Clean and store paint, tools, and painting equipment in designated areas. Coordinate with vendors to modify paint colors, stains, or varnishes. Comply with all company safety and procedural policies; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete required safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; and protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate guest service needs and fulfill them; assist guests with disabilities; and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Support the team in achieving common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Reach above head height and below knee level, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Climb up and down ladders. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and position unassisted objects weighing 50 pounds or less. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. DESIRABLE SKILLS Education: Diploma from a technical, trade, or vocational school. Relevant Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience. Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
