Drive continuous quality improvement and compliance **Job Description – QA/QC Representative (EPIC Projects) – Oil \& Gas** **Position:** QA/QC Representative **Location:** Qatar **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced **QA/QC Representative** to support the successful execution of EPIC Oil \& Gas projects in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the project's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring all engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities comply with client specifications, international standards, and contractual requirements. The role requires strong leadership in managing QA/QC teams and driving quality excellence throughout the project lifecycle. **Key Responsibilities** * Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with client and company requirements. * Lead and manage QA/QC personnel to ensure quality objectives are achieved. * Develop, review, and monitor Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and quality procedures. * Ensure all engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities comply with project specifications, applicable codes, and international standards. * Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, third\-party inspectors, and subcontractors. * Review material inspection reports, test results, quality documentation, and manufacturing records. * Monitor non\-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, preventive actions, and quality improvements. * Conduct internal quality audits and support external and client audits. * Ensure proper control and maintenance of QA/QC documentation and project records. * Monitor welding, NDT, pressure testing, and mechanical completion activities where applicable. * Prepare periodic quality reports and provide updates to project management. * Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement and compliance across the project team. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Process Safety, Instrumentation, or equivalent). * Minimum **10 years of experience** in the Oil \& Gas industry. * Minimum **7 years of experience** managing QA/QC teams on EPIC projects. * Strong experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS), inspections, testing, and project quality documentation. * Thorough knowledge of international quality standards, industry codes, and QA/QC best practices. * Experience coordinating inspections with clients, consultants, and third\-party inspection agencies. * Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem\-solving skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QA/QC documentation systems. **Preferred Skills** * Experience working on major Oil \& Gas EPIC projects. * Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and auditing processes. * Familiarity with ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, IEC, and other applicable industry standards. * Experience with document control systems, quality reporting, and root cause analysis. * Certification as a Lead Auditor or relevant QA/QC certification is an advantage.
