Opportunity to mentor and supervise laboratory teams As a **Clinical Pathologist**, you will play a critical role in patient care by overseeing diagnostic testing, ensuring the highest standards of laboratory accuracy, and providing expert consultative services to our clinical and medical teams. Key Responsibilities * **Laboratory Leadership:** Oversee the daily operations, workflow, and safety standards of the laboratory department. * **Clinical Correlation:** Interpret complex laboratory data, review peripheral blood smears/abnormal findings, and provide critical clinical correlations to attending physicians. * **Quality \& Compliance:** Ensure strict adherence to Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) protocols in full compliance with **Qatar Ministry of Public Health (MOPH)** regulations. * **Accreditation:** Lead, maintain, and prepare the laboratory for local and international accreditation processes. * **Team Supervision:** Supervise, mentor, and evaluate laboratory technologists and technical support staff. * **Policy Management:** Review, update, and approve laboratory policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical manuals. Requirements \& Qualifications * **Education:** MD or MBBS \+ Master’s Degree/PhD (or equivalent Western Board/Fellowship) in Clinical Pathology or Laboratory Medicine. * **Experience:** Minimum 3–5 years of continuous post\-specialization clinical experience in a hospital or medical laboratory setting. * **Licensing (Mandatory):** * Valid **Qatar DHP (Department of Healthcare Professions) License** as a Clinical Pathologist, OR a clear Dataflow report with immediate eligibility to license/transfer. * Valid medical license from the country of current/most recent practice. * **Technical Skills:** In\-depth knowledge of laboratory automation, modern instrumentation, and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS). * **Communication:** Exceptional leadership skills with fluency in English (**Arabic language skills are a significant advantage**).
