Summary: This role involves reprocessing reusable instrumentation and assembling supplies for surgical procedures within the Sterile Processing Department. Highlights: 1. Reprocesses reusable instrumentation for medical procedures 2. Prepares consumable supplies and instrumentation for surgeries 3. Works within a high-tech healthcare facility The Technician \- Sterile Processing Department under the Sterile Processing (CSSD) reprocesses all reusable instrumentation (flexible endoscopes etc.) which includes disassembly of the instrument, decontamination, inspection, assembly, packaging and sterilization. The Technician also picks consumable supplies for surgical procedures and assembles them along with the instrumentation into the case cart.
