Clinical \& Medical Support (Under Supervision)** * **Restraining animals** safely for examinations, blood draws, nail trims, and other procedures. * **Preparing exam rooms** and surgical suites (setting up instruments, laying out supplies). * **Assisting during surgery** by sterilizing equipment, monitoring patients, and handing instruments to the vet. * **Collecting samples** (urine, feces, blood) and performing basic lab tests (fecal floats, ear cytology, reading blood smears). * **Taking and developing x\-rays** (after proper safety training). * **Administering basic medications** (oral or topical) and vaccines as directed by the vet (depending on state/local laws). * **Filling prescriptions** and explaining dosage instructions to clients. **2\. Animal Care \& Husbandry** * **Feeding, watering, and exercising** boarding or hospitalized animals. * **Cleaning and disinfecting** kennels, cages, litter boxes, and runs. * **Walking dogs and socializing** cats to reduce stress. * **Monitoring hospitalized animals** for changes in behavior, appetite, or condition and reporting to the vet/technician. * **Bathing, brushing, and nail trims** for basic grooming needs. * **Providing compassionate end\-of\-life care** and assisting with euthanasia procedures (e.g., preparing the room, comforting the owner). **3\.
