




Summary: The Senior Engineer – AMI Application is responsible for developing, supporting, integrating, and optimizing AMI software to ensure system stability and performance. Highlights: 1. Provides technical support, documentation, and training to users **Senior Engineer – AMI Application** JOB PURPOSE The role holder is responsible for development, support, integration, and optimization of AMI software applications. The role ensures stability, performance, and effective utilization of AMI applications to support operational and business objectives. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES * Develops, configures, supports, and maintains AMI software applications and related interfaces. * Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues related to AMI applications. * Coordinates with internal teams and vendors to ensure proper configuration and deployment of AMI software. * Optimizes application performance, reliability, and system integration. * Supports system upgrades, patches, and enhancements. * Provides technical support, documentation, and training to system users. * Reviews application logs, performance indicators, and incident reports. * Ensures compliance with application security, governance, and IT standards. * Supports junior engineers and operational staff with technical guidance. * Performs other assignments as directed by management. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE \& SKILLS Qualifications / Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, IT, or a related discipline. Experience Minimum 9 years of relevant experience in application engineering or similar roles. Certified in AMI/MDM/HES platform administration (Siemens or equivalent), IT service management (ITIL or equivalent), and database or system integration technologies (Oracle, API/middleware, or equivalent). Key Skills * Strong knowledge of APIs, middleware, SOA/ESB integrations. * Experience in application development, configuration, and troubleshooting. * Excellent communication and end\-user support skills. * Written and Spoken English is essential; Arabic is preferred.
