Support construction quality assurance and client management ACTS Qatar is currently looking to hire a Concrete Technologist with the following experience and qualifications: **Concrete Technology Consultancy** * Provide expert technical advice on concrete materials, mix design, and construction practices. * Develop and review concrete mix designs for normal, high\-strength, self\-compacting, lightweight, and specialty concrete applications. * Evaluate concrete performance related to strength, durability, workability, shrinkage, cracking, permeability, and long\-term service life. * Provide recommendations for concrete improvement and optimization. * Support clients in selecting appropriate materials and concrete solutions. **Technical Review \& Engineering Support** * Provide technical comments and recommendations to consultants, contractors, and project teams. * Review concrete trial mix proposals, test results, and compliance documentation. * Assist in resolving technical issues related to concrete production, placement, curing, and performance. * Prepare technical reports, engineering assessments, and consultancy reports. **Concrete Failure Investigation** * Conduct investigations related to concrete defects, including: Cracking, Honeycombing, Low concrete strength, Durability concerns, Surface defects, Thermal cracking, Concrete deterioration * Perform site inspections and collect relevant information and samples. * Analyze test results and provide root cause analysis. * Recommend suitable repair, rehabilitation, or preventive solutions. **Construction Quality Assurance** * Provide technical support during concrete production and placement activities. * Monitor concrete quality control procedures at batching plants and construction sites. * Review laboratory testing results and ensure compliance with project specifications. * Support quality audits and technical inspections. * Ensure compliance with international standards and client requirements. **Client Management** * Act as technical consultant for clients, contractors, and consultants. * Attend technical meetings and provide engineering solutions. * Develop strong professional relationships with stakeholders. * Support business development activities through technical expertise. **Qualifications** * Master's Degree or PhD in Concrete Technology, Structural Materials, or Construction Materials Engineering * Diploma in Concrete Technology with extensive relevant experience may be considered. **Experience** * Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete technology, construction materials consultancy, or engineering services. * Strong experience in: Concrete mix design, Construction materials evaluation, Concrete durability assessment, Failure investigation, Technical consulting, Construction quality management * Experience working with consultants, contractors, and major infrastructure projects.
