Supervise and mentor junior architects and design teams **Location:** Qatar, Doha **Experience:** 10\+ years **Certification:** MMUP (UPDA) – Grade A or Grade B preferred **Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled **Senior Architect – Design** with strong experience in architectural design development, concept design, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of professional experience in architectural practice, including significant exposure to large\-scale projects in Qatar or the GCC region. **MMUP (UPDA) certification is required, with Grade A or Grade B preferred**. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead architectural design development from concept through detailed design stages * Prepare and review design drawings, concepts, and presentations * Coordinate with engineers (MEP, structural) and other consultants * Ensure compliance with local Qatar building codes and authority requirements * Manage project design quality, timelines, and deliverables * Participate in client meetings and present design proposals * Supervise and mentor junior architects and design teams * Review shop drawings and ensure design intent is maintained during execution * Support authority submissions and approvals (QCDD, QCS, MMUP, etc.) **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture * Minimum 10 years of architectural design experience * MMUP/UPDA registration (Grade A or Grade B preferred) * Strong experience in GCC projects (Qatar experience is a plus) * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite * Strong design, visualization, and presentation skills * Good knowledge of QCS, local regulations, and authority submission process * Strong leadership and coordination abilities * Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage) **Preferred Skills:** * Experience in mixed\-use, residential, commercial, or high\-rise projects * Strong concept design and design development portfolio * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Work Location: In person
