Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and M365 **Job Title** System Administrator (Azure, Windows, VMware \& Cloud) **Years of Experience** 10\+ **DU** CIMS **BU** CIS **Location** Doha/Offshore **SUMMARY** The Senior System Administrator is responsible for ensuring the secure, stable, and efficient operation of the client’s IT infrastructure, covering Windows Server, VMware, Hyper\-V, Azure, AVD, and Microsoft 365\. The role supports core infrastructure services, ensuring high availability, identity integrity, and optimal performance of mission\-critical systems across on\-premises and cloud environments. **JOB RESPONSIBILITY** * Manage and administer Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and PKI. **Administer VMware ESXi, vCenter, vROps, vRLI, and VxRail environments, including host lifecycle, VM provisioning, and cluster maintenance.** Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), host pools, session hosts, and identity synchronization. **Administer Hyper\-V clusters, VM lifecycle, templates, and host maintenance.** Manage Microsoft 365 workloads: Exchange Online, mail flow, distribution groups, Teams, OneDrive, and compliance configurations. **Perform OS and application patching using SCCM, WSUS, Intune and third\-party patch management tools.** Implement and maintain antimalware platforms, security baselines, and OS hardening. **Develop and manage PowerShell automation scripts for operational tasks.** Participate in On\-Call rotations and provide L3 escalation support across Windows, Azure, VMware, AVD, and M365 environments. **Handle incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and lead technical bridges during service disruptions.** Maintain SOPs, runbooks, architecture diagrams, server inventory, and configuration documentation. **Implement conditional access, RBAC, MFA, and identity governance policies in Azure AD / Entra ID.** Manage SMTP relay, connectors, policies, and Exchange Online protections. **Coordinate with vendors/third\-party providers for escalations, licensing, and issue resolution.** Assist with server lifecycle activities, including OS upgrades, platform migrations, cloud modernization, and virtualization enhancements. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Knowledge and Experience** Experience: 10–15 years in Windows, Azure, VMware, Hyper\-V, AVD, and M365 systems administration **Primary Skills and Experience** * Windows Server operating systems administration **Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, PKI management** Azure AD / Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC, hybrid identity integration **Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), host pools, and session hosts** VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vROps, vRLI, and vxRail administration **Hyper\-V cluster management and virtualization services** SCCM, WSUS, Intune and third\-party patch management **Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive)** PowerShell scripting for automation and operational efficiency **OS hardening, antimalware management, and audit support** **Requirements** * Strong experience managing Windows Server, AD DS, PKI, DNS, DHCP **Administration of Azure, AVD, and hybrid identity environments** VMware vSphere and ESXi operations **Hyper\-V virtualization expertise** Microsoft 365 service management and Exchange Online **Experience with patch orchestration and antimalware solutions (e.g., Trend Micro, Defender for Endpoint)** Willingness to work varying hours and shifts Education A bachelor’s degree in engineering in Computer Science or Information Systems, or an equivalent combination of education and/or professional experience. **CERTIFICATIONS** Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Architect Expert VMware VCP\-DCV Pay: QAR15,000\.00 \- QAR19,700\.00 per month Work Location: In person
