Select suitable plant species and implement pest control programs **Al Alia For Maintenance and Agriculture** is seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Agricultural Engineer** to join our team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing landscaping projects, irrigation networks, and ongoing agricultural maintenance across various company sites. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Site Supervision:** Manage and supervise daily landscaping, planting, and agricultural maintenance operations on\-site to ensure top\-quality execution. * **Irrigation Systems:** Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of modern irrigation systems (drip and sprinkler), optimizing water consumption according to local climate conditions. * **Plant \& Turf Care:** Select suitable plant species, trees, and turf for the local environment; implement effective fertilization, pruning, and pest control programs. * **Team Leadership:** Allocate tasks to site foremen and agricultural laborers, monitoring their performance, efficiency, and safety. * **Technical Reporting:** Prepare weekly/monthly work schedules and submit progress reports regarding site status, material consumption, and project timelines. **Requirements:** * **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering or a related field. * **Experience:** Minimum of **5 years** of proven experience in agricultural contracting, landscaping, maintenance, and irrigation systems (Qatar/GCC experience is highly preferred). * **Technical Skills:** Ability to read engineering layouts and landscaping drawings (Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus). * **License:** Valid Qatari Driving License (Essential for site visits). * **Location:** Currently residing in Qatar with a transferable visa and NOC. **Benefits:** * Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. * Company vehicle or transportation allowance. * Health insurance, annual leave, and flight ticket as per Qatar Labor Law.
