Summary: This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and platform services in a hybrid/multi-cloud environment, ensuring reliability, security, and automation. Manage Kubernetes clusters, networks, storage, and ensure cloud security. **MAYEED ENGINEERING \& MECHANICAL SERVICES (Doha)** is a Qatar\-based engineering and mechanical services company delivering fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair solutions for industrial and infrastructure projects. The firm provides mechanical piping, HVAC, steel fabrication, equipment overhaul, and planned shutdown support—prioritising HSE compliance, timely project execution, and technical reliability for oil \& gas, construction, and industrial clients. **Overview** Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services to support applications and operations in a hybrid/multi\-cloud environment (AWS/Azure/GCP). Ensure reliability, security, cost\-efficiency, and automation. **Key responsibilities** * Cloud architecture \& deployment * Design and implement scalable, highly available cloud solutions; manage IaC using Terraform/CloudFormation/Bicep. * Infrastructure automation * Build CI/CD pipelines, automate provisioning/configuration (Ansible, Packer), and integrate with GitOps workflows. * Platform \& operations * Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS/GKE), virtual networks, load balancers, storage, and backup/DR solutions. * Security \& compliance * Implement cloud security best practices (IAM, network segmentation, encryption, secrets management), support audits and compliance (SOC2, ISO) requirements. * Monitoring \& performance * Implement observability (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch), set SLOs/SLIs, troubleshoot incidents, and perform capacity planning. * Cost management * Optimize cloud spend, recommend rightsizing and cost controls, and produce monthly usage reports. * Collaboration \& support * Work with dev, QA, security, and ops teams to onboard services, define runbooks, and support incident response and postmortems. * Documentation \& best practices * Maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, deployment guides, and enforce tagging and governance standards. **Qualifications** * Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). * Experience: 3\+ years cloud engineering experience; experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP). * Technical skills: IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), container orchestration (Kubernetes), CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab), Linux, networking, scripting (Python/Bash), and monitoring tools. * Certifications (preferred): AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator/DevOps, or GCP Professional Cloud Engineer. * Soft skills: Strong problem\-solving, communication, and ability to work in cross\-functional teams. **Success metrics** * Uptime/availability: meet agreed SLAs (e.g., 99\.9%\+). * Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR): reduce incidents and MTTR over time. * Deployment frequency \& lead time: improve CI/CD throughput. * Cost savings: measurable cloud spend optimization annually. * Security compliance: 100% remediation of critical findings. الراتب المدفوع: QAR٥٥٫٥٠ لكل ساعة موقع العمل: على الطريق
