Oversee waste management, pollution control, and spill prevention. **Job Description: Environment Supervisor – Oil \& Gas (Qatar)** **Position Title:** Environment Supervisor **Department:** HSE / Projects **Location:** Qatar **Industry:** Oil \& Gas **Reports To:** HSE Manager / Project Manager **Role Overview** The Environment Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, client requirements, and company standards across project sites. The role involves monitoring site activities, implementing environmental controls, and supporting project teams to minimize environmental impact during construction and operations. **Key Responsibilities** * Implement and monitor the project Environmental Management Plan (EMP). * Conduct regular site inspections to identify environmental risks and non‑compliances. * Ensure compliance with local regulations, client environmental requirements, and industry standards. * Oversee waste management, pollution control, spill prevention, dust, noise, and emissions control. * Coordinate environmental monitoring activities and maintain related records. * Support investigations of environmental incidents and implementation of corrective actions. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly environmental reports. * Assist during client, third‑party, and internal environmental audits. * Deliver environmental awareness sessions and toolbox talks to site personnel. **Qualifications \& Skills** * **Education:** Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, HSE, or related discipline. * **Experience:** Minimum **5–8 years** in an environmental role within **Oil \& Gas or construction projects** (Qatar/GCC experience preferred). * **Certifications:** ISO 14001 awareness/certification and NEBOSH IGC or equivalent (preferred). * Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, waste management, and pollution control. * Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills. **How to Apply** Interested candidates may apply here or send their updated CVs to: **recruitment@gso.qa** Job Type: Full\-time Application Question(s): * Are you available immediately ?
