Lead financial planning & analysis and drive process improvements Overview Oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, budgeting, and compliance to support business decisions and ensure accurate, timely financial information. Key Responsibilities * Manage full\-cycle accounting: AP, AR, GL, month\-end and year\-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries. * Prepare timely financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) in accordance with IFRS and company policies. * Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, cash\-flow projections and variance analysis. * Ensure compliance with Qatari tax, statutory reporting, and regulatory requirements; coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors. * Implement and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and SOX/compliance\-related processes. * Oversee payroll coordination with HR and payroll teams; manage payroll accounting and accruals. * Lead financial planning \& analysis (FP\&A) activities, KPI reporting, and management dashboards. * Drive process improvements and automation (ERP implementations, accounting system enhancements). * Supervise and mentor accounting staff; manage vendor relationships and bank interactions. * Support M\&A, financial modelling, cost analysis, and ad\-hoc financial projects. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA/ACCA/CMA preferred. * 5\+ years accounting/finance experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role; GCC experience preferred. * Strong knowledge of IFRS, corporate tax, and statutory reporting in Qatar or the region. * Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills. * Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong communication skills. Preferred Qualifications * Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA). * Experience with ERP implementation, treasury management, and financial controls frameworks. * Arabic language skills desirable.
