Work closely with IT teams and management to protect systems and data IT Security Coordinator **Iproteksi LLC – Al Rayyan, Qatar** Position Overview The IT Security Coordinator at Iproteksi LLC is responsible for supporting, monitoring, and strengthening the organization’s cybersecurity posture. This role ensures that systems, networks, and data are protected against threats while maintaining compliance with internal policies and industry best practices. The coordinator will work closely with IT teams and management to implement security controls, respond to incidents, and promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness. Key Responsibilities * Monitor IT systems, networks, and security tools for suspicious activity and potential threats * Assist in implementing and maintaining cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures * Support incident response activities, including detection, analysis, containment, and reporting * Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts * Manage access controls, user permissions, and identity management processes * Assist in security audits and compliance requirements (internal and external) * Maintain security documentation, logs, and reports for management review * Collaborate with IT staff to ensure secure configuration of systems and applications * Support deployment and management of security tools such as firewalls, antivirus, and SIEM systems * Provide cybersecurity awareness training and guidance to employees Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field * 2\+ years of experience in IT security, network administration, or related roles * Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) * Familiarity with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection, and SIEM tools * Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, etc.) * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills * Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment Preferred Certifications * CompTIA Security\+ * CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) * Cisco CCNA Security or equivalent * ISO 27001 Lead Implementer (advantageous) Job Type: Full\-time Work Location: In person
