A **Procurement Category Manager** is responsible for managing a specific group of goods or services—called a category—to ensure the company gets the best value, quality, and reliability from suppliers. **Core job purpose** Own and optimize a procurement category (e.g., transport services, IT, fuel, warehouse equipment) by: Reducing costs, Improving supplier performance ,Ensuring continuity of supply. **Key responsibilities** **Category strategy** Develop long\-term sourcing strategies for assigned categories Analyze spend data and identify cost\-saving opportunities Monitor market trends, pricing, and risks **Supplier management** Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service levels Build long\-term supplier relationships Conduct supplier performance reviews (KPIs, SLAs) **Cost \& contract management** Lead contract negotiations and renewals Deliver cost savings and efficiency improvements Ensure compliance with company procurement policies **Operations \& coordination** Work closely with internal teams (operations, finance, logistics) Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods/services Resolve supply issues or disruptions **Reporting \& compliance** Track procurement KPIs (savings, delivery performance, supplier quality) Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and company standards Support audits and risk assessments نوع الوظيفة: دوام كامل, دائم الراتب المدفوع: QAR١٥٬٠٠٠٫٠٠ لكل شهر موقع العمل: بشكل شخصي
