Coordinate with consultants and PWA representatives for approvals **Position Name: QA/QC Engineer** **Employment Type: Contractual** **Job description:** Execute QA/QC procedures at PWA\-defined milestones, performing inspections, logging non\-conformances, and verifying remedial work. You will maintain test inspection plans and support certification processes. **Key Responsibilities:** · Implement and monitor the Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans as per PWA specifications, project requirements, and QD\-SBG’s internal standards. · Conduct inspections on site activities (earthwork, asphalt, concrete, utilities, etc.) and ensure work is carried out in compliance with approved procedures and codes. · Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation including inspection requests (IRs), non\-conformance reports (NCRs), material approval records (MARs), and test reports. · Coordinate with consultants and PWA representatives for joint inspections, approvals, and resolution of technical queries. · Monitor testing schedules, results, and third\-party lab coordination for construction materials (soil, concrete, asphalt, etc.). · Raise and follow up on NCRs, corrective actions, and preventive measures in coordination with site teams and QA/QC leadership. · Conduct internal quality audits and participate in external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance. · Support training and awareness for engineers and site staff on quality procedures and workmanship standards. · Provide daily and weekly QA/QC reports to the QA/QC Manager, highlighting quality issues, progress, and risk mitigation status. **Qualifications \& Requirements:** · Bachelors in civil/Materials Engineering; ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 awareness. · 5–7 years in QA/QC engineering on road\-infrastructure works (soil, concrete, asphalt), with ISO 17025/9001 knowledge.
