Faculty management and development **Job Summary:** The Academic Director is responsible for overseeing all academic aspects of the educational institution, including curriculum development, ensuring educational quality, faculty management, and compliance with educational standards in the United Arab Emirates, aiming to deliver an exceptional educational experience. **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Develop and implement the academic strategy aligned with the institution’s vision. * Supervise the design, development, and updating of curricula. * Ensure educational quality and compliance with local and international academic standards. * Manage, evaluate, and professionally develop faculty performance. * Oversee daily academic operations (schedules, examinations, assessments). * Monitor accreditation of academic programs by relevant UAE authorities. * Enhance the student experience and improve academic achievement. * Develop and enforce teaching and assessment policies. * Manage academic budgets and educational resources. * Promote scientific research and innovation (in universities and higher education institutions). * Coordinate with other departments (admissions, registration, quality assurance). * Prepare periodic reports for senior management on academic performance. **Qualifications and Requirements:** * Master’s or Doctoral degree in a related academic field. * Minimum of 10\-15 years of academic experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. * Experience in curriculum development and educational quality assurance. * Strong knowledge of UAE education systems and accreditation frameworks. * Outstanding leadership and management skills. * High-level communication and organizational skills. * Proficiency in both Arabic and English. **Core Competencies:** * Academic leadership * Curriculum development * Educational quality assurance * Faculty management * Strategic planning * Analysis and decision-making **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):** * Students’ academic achievement levels * Academic accreditation outcomes * Curriculum and program quality * Student and faculty satisfaction * Graduation and pass rates * Development of scientific research and innovation **Academic Director** Employment Type: Permanent Salary: QAR٤٣٬٠٠٠٫٠٠ per month Work Location: On-site
