Job Summary: The Email Systems Director leads the corporate email systems strategy, ensuring its security, efficiency, and continuity in alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements. Leading email security initiatives and collaborating with cybersecurity teams Email Systems Director **Purpose of the Role:** To lead and develop the corporate email systems strategy, and ensure its security, efficiency, and continuity in alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and implement enterprise-wide email systems strategy * Oversee the management and operation of email platforms such as Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace * Ensure service continuity, performance optimization, and scalability * Lead email security initiatives (spam mitigation, phishing prevention, encryption, data loss prevention) * Manage upgrade, migration, and integration operations with other systems * Develop email usage, archiving, and data retention policies * Monitor system performance and resolve technical faults and incidents * Manage vendors, service providers, and licenses * Lead and develop the IT team * Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams * Ensure adherence to local regulations and data protection standards **Qualifications and Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) * Minimum 10 years’ experience in infrastructure or messaging systems * Minimum 5 years’ leadership experience * Strong experience with enterprise email platforms * Knowledge of email protocols (SMTP, IMAP, POP3\) * Experience in cloud and hybrid environments * Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards * Professional certifications such as Microsoft or CISSP are an added advantage * Proficiency in English (Arabic is an added advantage) **Core Competencies:** * Leadership and team management * Strategic planning * Analysis and problem-solving * Communication and stakeholder management skills * Risk and compliance management * Advanced technical expertise in email systems **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):** * System uptime percentage * Incident response and resolution time * Reduction in security threats * User satisfaction and service quality * Success rate of upgrade and migration projects Employment Type: Permanent Salary: QAR٣٢٬٠٠٠٫٠٠ per month Work Location: On-site
