Edoxi’s programs reach learners in more than 30 countries, creating a diverse and dynamic learning environment. **Role Description** This is a full\-time, on\-site Coding for Kids Part Time Trainer role based in Doha, Qatar. The trainer will design and deliver engaging coding lessons for children, using age\-appropriate tools and programming concepts to build foundational skills in problem\-solving and logical thinking. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, conducting interactive classroom sessions, guiding students through hands\-on projects, and monitoring their progress. The trainer will provide constructive feedback, foster a safe and inclusive learning environment, and collaborate with Edoxi’s academic team to continuously improve course content. The role also involves communicating with parents or guardians when needed, maintaining accurate records of student performance, and staying current with educational best practices and emerging technologies relevant to coding education. **Qualifications** * Strong knowledge of basic programming concepts and languages used in kids’ coding (such as Scratch, block\-based coding, or introductory Python), and ability to simplify technical topics for young learners. * Experience in teaching, tutoring, or training children or adolescents, with skills in classroom management and designing engaging, activity\-based lessons. * Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create an inclusive, encouraging, and respectful learning environment. * Organizational and time\-management skills to plan lessons, manage schedules, track student progress, and coordinate with academic and administrative teams. * Comfort with educational technology and digital tools used for interactive learning, online resources, and basic learning management systems. * Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field; professional certifications in coding or teaching are an advantage. * Demonstrated patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with children, with a commitment to safeguarding and child\-friendly teaching practices. * Prior experience in STEM education, coding bootcamps, or after\-school tech programs is preferred; familiarity with curriculum development is a plus.
