Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications for energy management, monitoring, and analytics. * Build solutions that support renewable energy systems, smart grids, energy optimization, and industrial automation. * Integrate software with IoT devices, SCADA systems, sensors, and energy monitoring platforms. * Develop APIs and backend services for real\-time energy data collection and processing. * Analyze energy consumption data to improve system performance and operational efficiency. * Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and cross\-functional teams to deliver innovative software solutions. * Troubleshoot software issues and implement performance enhancements. * Ensure applications meet cybersecurity, scalability, and reliability standards. * Prepare technical documentation and support software deployment and maintenance. * Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in energy software development. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, preferably within the energy, utilities, industrial automation, or smart technology sectors. * Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Java, C\#, C\+\+, or JavaScript. * Experience with cloud platforms, RESTful APIs, databases, and modern software development frameworks. * Familiarity with IoT technologies, SCADA systems, MQTT, Modbus, OPC UA, or industrial communication protocols is an advantage. * Knowledge of energy management systems (EMS), renewable energy technologies, or smart grid solutions is highly desirable. * Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and data visualization tools is a plus. * Understanding of software development methodologies, version control (Git), and DevOps practices. * Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast\-paced and innovative environment.
