We are currently hiring experienced Fire Alarm Technicians for the Qatar University project. * Number of Vacancies: 3 * Job Type: Short\-Term Contract * Contract Duration: 3 Months (extendable based on project requirements) * Working Days: 6 days per week * Working Hours: 9 hours per day (8 working hours \+ 1\-hour break) * Salary: QAR 2500 (all inclusive) * Location: Qatar University **Job details** The Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and uninterrupted system performance. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of fire alarm systems. * Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults and control circuits. * Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning activities as required. * Interpret electrical and control diagrams for fault identification and rectification. * Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and project requirements. **Qualifications** * Graduate/Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. * Completion of a 1\.5–2 year full\-time technical training course from a recognized institute. * Minimum 3 years of experience in Fire Alarm Systems, preferably in Operations \& Maintenance (O\&M). * Hands\-on experience with fire alarm systems from recognized manufacturers such as Gent, Siemens, Simplex, AFA Minerva, GE Edwards, Notifier, or equivalent. * Strong troubleshooting and fault\-finding skills. * Ability to read and interpret control diagrams. **Mandatory Requirement** * Original educational, trade, and employment certificates must be available. * Candidates must strictly meet the specified job requirements, particularly relevant O\&M experience. * Candidates who have previously attended a COMO interview for Qatar University through another manpower agency are not eligible. ***Please note:*** *Applicants must answer the pre\-screening questions to be considered for this position.* ***CVs should be submitted along with educational and experience certificates.*** *Applications without certificates will not be considered.* ***THOSE WHO CAN JOIN IMMEDIATELY SHOULD APPLY.
