Summary: This role involves ensuring the safe and proper execution of rigging and slinging operations, including equipment maintenance, load monitoring, and workplace safety. Highlights: 1. Ensure safe and proper rigging and slinging operations 2. Monitor lifting tackle, wind conditions, and load weights 3. Maintain a clear and safe work environment **Qualifications \& Experience:** Secondary level education with a minimum of 3 years of rigging/slinging experience. Must possess a valid rigging \& slinging certificate issued by a QatarEnergy\-approved provider (QLIP/QLTP). Must be physically fit and fluent in English (Arabic is advantageous) * Ensure lifting tackle functions correctly, meets safety standards, and is properly maintained before use. * Perform proper lifting signaling, monitor wind speed/direction, and verify load weights prior to lifting. * Double\-check lifting equipment condition, certifications, color codes, and capacity limits. * Attach taglines to long/awkward loads and keep work areas clear of obstructions or hazards. * Identify emergency escape routes and ensure all personnel are clear of the load radius.
