Coordinate with diverse teams and ensure client satisfaction **Project Engineer – Interior Fit\-Out Projects** **Location:** Qatar **Employment Type:** Permanent **About the Role** We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated **Project Engineer (Civil)** with a strong background in **interior fit\-out projects**. The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete execution and management of the project, ensuring delivery within schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements while maintaining effective client coordination. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage the project from initiation to handover, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines and budgets. * Act as the primary point of contact for the client and coordinate all project\-related communications. * Develop, monitor, and update project schedules and resource plans. * Track project costs, monitor budgets, and implement cost\-control measures. * Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. * Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. * Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews. * Identify project risks and proactively implement mitigation measures. * Prepare and present progress reports, look\-ahead schedules, and management updates. * Manage variations, change orders, procurement activities, and project documentation. * Lead project meetings and ensure timely resolution of technical and commercial issues. * Ensure successful project closeout and client handover. **Requirements** * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. * Minimum **7–10 years of experience** in construction projects, with at least **5 years in interior fit\-out projects**. * Proven experience managing projects and dealing directly with clients. * Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and project execution. * Experience managing consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams. * Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office. * Strong understanding of fit\-out construction methodologies, finishes, MEP coordination, and site management. * Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and client management skills. * Ability to work independently and take full ownership of project delivery. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in Qatar or GCC countries. * PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is an advantage. * Valid driving license preferred.
