Summary: Responsible for planning, coordinating, controlling, and reviewing work in an assigned portfolio, ensuring effective client service, team development, and audit quality. Highlights: 1. Responsible for planning, co\-ordination, control and review of all work in assigned portfolio, ensuring effective and efficient client service and encouraging the team to exceed client expectations. **Responsible for management of engagement team members, providing effective coaching to support on\-going development and ensuring teams are fully and properly briefed prior to any assignment.** **Carries out audit planning procedures on key engagements including the design of audit tests using the firm’s audit methodology, ensuring that key matters not identified at the planning stage are brought to the attention of the client management team and assists with assessment.** **For key audit engagements, undertakes pre\-audit scoping and preparation, identifying audit risks and performing preliminary evaluation of client’s internal control structure to identify weaknesses and areas for management consideration and improvement and endeavours to exceed client expectations** **Reviews progress on assignments against budget, investigates variances and cost over\-runs and initiates appropriate action to resolve any potential or actual problems.** **Produces work for manager or director review that is completed to a high standard and which meets set reporting and auditing standards, clearly highlighting issues and providing potential solutions.** **Supports the Director in setting of budgets and fee levels to ensure the team is a profitable service line in accordance with the firm’s business plan.** **Prepares financial statements, where applicable, or reviews client\-prepared financial statements and other management reports.** **Maintains good client relationships, keeping up\-to\-date with significant changes in client affairs.** **Identifies opportunities to cross\-sell and is able to build relationships to ensure client retention and growth.** **Supports the Director by actively managing ongoing client relationship, resolving any issues and maintaining consistent high quality service and introducer retention.** **Conducts evaluation of staff performance at end of assignments, providing feedback and recommending training where relevant.** **Contributes feedback to managers / directors on team members’ interim and full year appraisals.** **Delivers training on identified topics to impart knowledge and ensure the development of the team.** **Responsible for overseeing WIP and monitoring time charges to client portfolio, reviewing and controlling non\-productive time of the team and ensuring targets as set by the Directors are met.** **Reviews progress on assignments against budget, investigates variances and cost over\-runs and initiates appropriate action to resolve any potential or actual problems.** **Acts as an ambassador of the firm, building relationships and promoting the firm at every opportunity to facilitate new business opportunities.** **Supports managers / directors in proposal writing and presentation.** **Possesses a relevant professional accounting qualification coupled with at least 4\-6 years audit work experience.** **Degree holder OR Professional Qualification** **Previous Big 4 exposure would be a definite advantage** **MS Office** **Fluent in English/Arabic/tagalog** **Good written business language** **Business integrity** **Attention to details** **Ability to work under pressure** **Team player** Pay: From QAR10,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
