Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures. Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information. Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial information to compile and maintain financial records using journals, ledgers, and/or computers. Complete closing procedures and reports at the end of each period as specified. Conduct periodic cash audits per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Maintain, distribute, and record petty cash, cash boxes, and contracts. Document, maintain, communicate, and respond to any cash discrepancies per SOP. Serve as the liaison between the hotel and armored car services or the primary banking institution. Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audit processes to ensure SOP compliance. Comply with company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets; protect guest and colleague privacy and security. Communicate with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using proper protocol; provide assistance to colleagues to ensure understanding of their tasks. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team in achieving common goals; listen and respond appropriately to concerns raised by other employees. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
