Summary: This position involves installing, testing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and water circulation systems for swimming pools, spas, fountains, and water features. Highlights: 1. Proficiency in various piping systems and equipment installation **Job Purpose:** The main purpose of this position is responsible for installing, testing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and water circulation systems associated with swimming pools, spas, fountains, and water features. The role requires hands\-on experience in swimming pool construction, including pool piping, filtration systems, pumps, drainage, water supply, and associated plumbing works. **Duties and responsibilities:** · Install plumbing systems for new swimming pool construction projects. · Install pool circulation, suction, return, and drainage piping systems. · Install skimmer lines, main drain lines, overflow systems, and balance tank connections. · Install piping for pool pumps, filters, heaters, chlorination systems, and dosing equipment. · Install and connect PVC, UPVC, HDPE, PPR, and other approved piping systems. · Perform pipe cutting, threading, solvent welding, fusion welding, and jointing as applicable. · Install pool pumps, valves, strainers, filters, and related equipment. · Install water supply and drainage connections for swimming pools, Jacuzzis, spas, and fountains. · Read and understand plumbing and swimming pool construction drawings. · Carry out pipe pressure testing and leakage testing. · Identify and rectify pipe leakage, blockages, and faulty connections. · Coordinate plumbing works with civil, electrical, waterproofing, and ME · P teams. · Ensure correct pipe gradients, levels, alignment, and installation according to approved drawings. · Assist in installation of pool filtration and water treatment systems. · Conduct testing and commissioning of pool plumbing systems. · Assist in troubleshooting circulation and water flow problems. · Ensure proper protection of installed pipework during construction. · Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. · Follow project specifications, method statements, and approved materials. **Preferred Candidate Profile** * **4–7 years of plumbing experience**, with **2–3\+ years specifically in swimming pool construction**. * Strong practical knowledge of **pool piping, pumps, filtration systems, drains, skimmers, overflow systems, and water features**.
