Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment **Role Overview:** We are seeking a caring, proactive, and experienced **School Social Worker** to join our primary school team in Qatar. The successful candidate will support the social, emotional, behavioural, and wellbeing needs of students, working closely with pupils, parents, teachers, and external agencies to promote student welfare and positive outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide social, emotional, and pastoral support to primary\-aged students. * Identify and support students experiencing social, emotional, behavioural, or family\-related challenges. * Work collaboratively with teachers, school leaders, and parents to develop appropriate support strategies and intervention plans. * Conduct meetings with parents to discuss student wellbeing, attendance, behaviour, and safeguarding concerns. * Support student attendance, behaviour management, and safeguarding processes. * Maintain accurate, confidential student records and reports. * Liaise with relevant external agencies and professionals where required. * Deliver wellbeing initiatives, awareness programmes, and student support sessions. * Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or a related field. * Relevant experience working as a Social Worker, Counsellor, or Student Support professional, preferably within a school setting. * Experience working with primary\-aged children. * Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. * Understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and student wellbeing practices. * Ability to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds. * English and Arabic language proficiency required If you are passionate about supporting children’s wellbeing and helping students thrive socially, emotionally, and academically, we would welcome your application.
