Utilize hands-on fiberglass boat manufacturing and laminating experience **Position Overview:** We are seeking a skilled and experienced **Fiberglass Boat Laminator** to join our marine production team. The ideal candidate will have hands\-on experience in fiberglass boat manufacturing and laminating processes within a boatbuilding or marine production environment. This role involves working with composite materials to manufacture high\-quality fiberglass boat hulls, decks, and components to meet strict marine industry standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Laminate fiberglass hulls, decks, stringers, bulkheads, and other boat components according to specifications. * Read and interpret boatbuilding blueprints, layup schedules, and technical drawings. * Cut, measure, and fit fiberglass mat, woven roving, and core materials to required dimensions. * Mix and apply resins, gel coats, and hardeners according to specified ratios. * Perform hand lay\-up, vacuum bagging, or resin infusion processes as required. * Roll out air bubbles and ensure proper saturation and bonding of fiberglass layers. * Trim, grind, and finish laminated parts to meet quality standards. * Inspect completed laminations for defects, thickness accuracy, and structural integrity. * Operate and maintain laminating tools and equipment safely and efficiently. * Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and environmental regulations. * Follow all marine manufacturing quality control standards and safety procedures. * Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and deadlines. * Troubleshoot laminating issues and recommend process improvements when necessary. **Requirements:** * Proven experience as a Fiberglass Laminator in boat manufacturing or marine production. * Strong knowledge of marine composite materials and laminating techniques. * Experience working with polyester, vinyl ester, or epoxy resins. * Familiarity with gel coat application and marine finishing standards. * Ability to read and interpret marine blueprints and layup schedules. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high\-quality boat components. * Knowledge of workplace safety practices related to fiberglass and resin handling. * Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy boat molds and materials. * Comfortable working in a fast\-paced boatbuilding environment. * Strong teamwork and communication skills.
