Architect and maintain cloud infrastructure using IaC **Senior DevOps Engineer — Job DescriptionAbout the role** Senior DevOps Engineer responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable, secure, and automated platforms that accelerate software delivery, improve reliability, and reduce operational risk. **Key responsibilities** * Architect, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). * Design, implement, and operate CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies (rolling, canary, blue/green). * Manage container platforms and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) including cluster lifecycle and upgrades. * Build automation for provisioning, configuration, and runbooks to reduce toil. * Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing to ensure observability and rapid incident response. * Lead incident response, postmortems, and remediation; drive reliability and resilience improvements. * Implement security best practices: secrets management, least\-privilege IAM, network segmentation, and vulnerability management. * Optimize cost, capacity planning, and resource utilization across environments. * Mentor and coach engineers; promote DevOps practices and platform self\-service. * Evaluate, prototype, and adopt tools/techniques to improve developer productivity and platform reliability. * Maintain documentation: runbooks, architecture diagrams, operational procedures. **Required qualifications** * 5\+ years hands\-on experience in DevOps/SRE/platform engineering. * Strong cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with production deployments. * Proficient with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi). * Deep experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Argo CD, or similar). * Expert with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). * Solid scripting or programming skills (Python, Go, Bash, or similar). * Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Open search, Jaeger/Tempo). * Strong networking, security, and identity knowledge (VPCs, load balancers, IAM/KMS). * Proven incident\-management and on\-call experience. * Excellent collaboration, communication, and mentoring skills. **Preferred qualifications** * Cloud certifications (AWS/GCP/Azure). * Experience with Git Ops, Hashi Corp tools (Vault, Consul), service meshes. * Background in platform engineering, chaos engineering, or cost optimization. * Experience in regulated/high\-compliance environments (SOC2, PCI, HIPAA).
