Mechanical Assistant Supervisor

Engage in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance planning **Key Responsibilities** * Assist in supervising mechanical technicians and contractors. * Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of: o High\-pressure RO pumps o Booster pumps o Seawater intake pumps o Energy Recovery Devices (ERDs) o Valves and piping systems o Compressors and blowers o Chemical dosing equipment o Pressure vessels and filters * Monitor equipment performance, vibration, temperature, and alignment. * Support troubleshooting of mechanical failures and plant breakdowns. * Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety procedures and permit\-to\-work systems. * Review maintenance reports, work orders, and spare\-parts requirements. * Assist during plant shutdowns, commissioning, and start\-up activities. * Coordinate with operations, electrical, and instrumentation teams. * Supervise contractors and verify quality of completed work. * Maintain maintenance records using CMMS/SAP systems. **Required Qualifications** * Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. * 3–7 years of experience in water treatment, desalination, power plants, or industrial maintenance. * Knowledge of RO desalination processes and mechanical equipment. * Ability to read P\&IDs, mechanical drawings, and maintenance manuals. * Familiarity with pumps, rotating equipment, valves, hydraulics, and piping systems. **Required Skills** * Mechanical troubleshooting. * Team supervision and leadership. * Preventive maintenance planning. * Safety and risk assessment. * Computer skills (MS Office, CMMS, SAP). * Good communication and reporting skills.
