Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies **About the Role:** We are seeking an experienced and detail\-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have solid hands\-on experience in the FMCG industry, strong knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to manage day\-to\-day financial operations efficiently. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journal entries * Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions * Perform bank reconciliations and monthly closing activities * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports * Monitor inventory accounting and cost control (specific to FMCG operations) * Process invoices, payments, and expense claims * Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis * Ensure compliance with local tax regulations (VAT, WHT, etc.) and company policies * Coordinate with auditors during internal/external audits * Reconcile supplier and customer statements * Support the finance manager with ad\-hoc financial analysis and reporting **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field * 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the FMCG sector * Strong knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS) and local tax laws * Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar) * Advanced skills in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas) * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem\-solving skills * High attention to detail and accuracy * Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written); English is a plus * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines **Preferred Qualifications:** * Professional certification (CMA, CPA, or equivalent) is a plus * Experience with multi\-branch or multi\-warehouse inventory accounting Pay: QAR10\.00 \- QAR1,000\.00 per month Work Location: In person
