Summary: This role involves performing various machine works in a shipyard, operating different machines, reading drawings, and ensuring work complies with safety and quality standards. Highlights: 1. Operate various machines like milling, lathe, shaping, and slotting. 2. Responsible for all types of machine works. 3. Ensure compliance with quality assurance and safety procedures. Communication Internal Communication: Shipyard Personnel Purpose: To communicate with other section peoples during work To communicate with the peoples inside the organization Advantage to communicate with peoples in the region during work Purpose External Communication: N/A Purpose: N/A Occupational Health \& Safety and Environment Accountability: Are accountable for their acts and omissions. Responsibility: To follow agreed safe systems of work; to follow training and instructions; and to report accidents, incidents and near misses. Authority: To stop work if they think the work is unsafe. Minimum Qualification/Experiences/Skills Education \& Professional Qualification: I.T.I. training or Technical training school certificate in the trade of machinist. Professional Experience: 5\-10 year experience in similar trade * Heavy engineering industries experience in machining required * Shipyard experience will be preferred. * Experience certificate from heavy engineering organizations Geographic Experience: Records of good company work experience Computer Skills: 0 Language Skills: English preferential Market/Industry/Functional Knowledge: 0 Key Roles \& Responsibilities * Responsible for all kind of machine works. * Operating all kind of machine in shipyard such as milling machine, Lathe machine, Shaping machine, Slotting machine, Etc. * Reading drawings of all jobs. * Ensuring that all works are carried out in a safe manner and in compliance with the divisions Quality Assurance procedures and Quality Manuals. * Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.
